Message	dimension "B" refers to how tall the core is. It makes sense that as this increases, so does the charge face area. This is why the CFM increases as dimension "B" increases. As far as your testing is concerned, here is what most likely will happen: The Greddy 3 row will have better efficiency than the side mount, but at the expense of increased pressure drop. I'm not sure I'd consider that a worthwhile tradeoff.
